In accordance with the mandate of Law Number 17 of 2003 concerning State Finance, heads of institutions as Budget/Goods Users have the task of compiling and submitting financial reports for the institutions they lead. BPS is also obliged to carry out accounting and accountability reports for the implementation of the State Revenue and Expenditure Budget by preparing financial reports in the form of budget realization reports, balance sheets, operational reports, equity change reports and notes to financial reports.

Financial reports can provide information to report users, and also serve as a means of increasing accountability and transparency in state financial management at BPS.
