Did you know that inflation calculations now use a new base year? So, since January 2024, inflation calculations have used a new base year, namely 2022, replacing the previous base year, namely 2018.

So today (20/02) BPS-Statistics Balikpapan Municipality had the opportunity to share how to calculate inflation with a new base year as well as socialize the results of the 2022 Cost of Living Survey. The event which was held in the Sun Bear Hall of the Bank Indonesia Balikpapan Representative Office was attended by members of the Control Team. Regional Inflation (TPID) of Balikpapan Municipality and North Penajam Paser Regency.
