On Tuesday (21/05) BPS Balikpapan City conducted data collection on the Annual Survey of Manufacturing Industrial Companies (STPIM) at PT Kutai Refinery Nusantara (PT KRN). STPIM aims to produce statistics on medium and large scale manufacturing industries, including active, inactive companies, raw materials, production, labor and other characteristics.

In 2023 there will be 98 IBS companies recorded in Balikpapan City. This company directory can be seen in the publication "Directory of Large and Medium Industries in Balikpapan City 2023" which can be downloaded via the official BPS Balikpapan City website.
