Wednesday (17/07) all BPS-Statistics Balikpapan Municipality employees took part in the monthly routine roll call at the BPS-Statistics Balikpapan Municipality office yard. The call was led by the Head of BPS-Statistics Balikpapan Municipality. At the rally, a message was read from the Deputy for Methodology and Statistical Information. In the last few weeks, apart from being busy with routine activities, BPS also has an agenda for accession to the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD). The OECD is an international organization that works to establish evidence-based international standards and find solutions to social, economic and environmental challenges. Specifically for BPS, Indonesia's membership in the OECD is useful as an acceleration of BPS's transformation in strengthening the development of the National Statistical System, opportunities to share and interact with experts, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
