Employment data collection by the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) is carried out through various census and survey activities. Census and survey activities that produce employment data include the Population Census (SP), the Inter-Census Population Survey (SUPAS), the National Social and Economic Survey (Susenas), and the National Labor Force Survey (Sakernas). From these sources, only Sakernas is specifically designed to collect employment data between time periods so that BPS determines official labor publications sourced from Sakernas.
