The export value of Balikpapan Municipality in April 2024 was recorded at US$472.06 million, or an increase of 5.43 percent compared to March 2024.

Balikpapan Municipality's largest export in April 2024 came from the processing industry group reaching US$241.87 million or a decrease of 8.36 percent compared to March 2024

The import value of Balikpapan Municipality in April 2024 was recorded at US$291.63 million, or an increase of 38.16 percent when compared to the import value in March 2024

Balikpapan Municipality's largest import in April 2024 came from oil products reaching US$126.93 million or a decrease of 15.83 percent compared to March 2024
